well im going on a cruise in october and its in the carribean places like dominican, labadee,peurto rico and st. maarten. im wondering if anyone has a clue if i need a fishing licence to fish from a dock or shore or pier??? i want to take a telescopic rod in my luggage and just take it with me in a back pack when im going from ship to shore to fish with for some minor reef fishes.
anyone ever do this? would i need a licence does anyone know?
im hoping to check out a store tomorrow for a telescopic rod, ive already got my reel i want to take with me and im looking for a medium action 6-7 foot rod. i seen a 7 foot rod at bass proshops, shimano for $67.99 but i wanted to see if i could find cheaper since its just for this trip. they had a $20 bass pro shop brand but they were all sold out.
i dont want any of the break down section rods i want telescopic all the way.
so please let me know if i would need a licence or if anyone has ever done this before? i just dont wanna get locked up in a foriegn country for poaching lol
