Do ITs like being alone or in a group? (my IT is a bully)

Hey guys, i have this IT for like a month now, hes now about 3-4 inches. He thinks hes the boss of the tank now. He shares a tank with a silver arowana. Last week i bought another IT. But it was smaller then him, the first moment my IT saw him, he tackled him to the gravel ! I had to get rid of the new IT immediately. So like im planning to buy 2 bigger ST's. They are like 5-7 inches. You think they would bother my IT or vice versa?


PS- it killed my peacock bass (2-3 inches )

sorry to hear mate.. I kept 2 IT's for 4 years, one has always been 2" bigger, and he has always bullied the smaller one, who had a split tail for about 1 year cause it could't recover fast enough.

Since moving to 100G tank, and addign more IT's, he doesn't get bullied hardly at all any more.

So in my experience, more tigers WILL spread the aggression. if it does not, then that TIger was born to be a bully!!

As long as your tank is large enough, with hiding spots they should be fine. Tigers do best in groups.
