Do Knife Fish Have a slow growing rate

i got my knife about three to four months ago and hes grown half an in. wat is wrong

my friends clown knife turned into a monster quick

the african knife I had in the past grew like a snail

the the ghost knife my friend had grew moderately

i think they all grow at a faster rate then the norm. My glass knife was eaten by a 6 inch Dat. The knife was 9+ inches!!

i wouldn't know , my damn knife fish died 2 days after I got it. I blame it on Petsmart

my pair of knives are about 3 years old and they are over 3 feet in length. outgrown my two monster RTCS! really amazin growth rate. then again mine only eat feeders...most risk of bacteria but fastest growth food. peace. OH yeh, mine also like in a 16 foot by 8 foot pond. so size matters. the bigger the house the faster the growth.
