My lungfish ,Annectens by the way, used to be a really lazy fish.It ate chiclid sticks at the surface dove back down and chewed on them. Now he swims around a lot and when he breathes and sitcks his whole head out of the water and he has lost his table manners and expels most of his food through his gill. Plus another wierd thing is that they say do not mix bottomfeeders with lungfish but mine has been the opposite. Its killed several attempted tank mates but all of them have been fish living at or near the surface. Its friends though are bottom dwellers like my sun cat, syno, eels, lima catfish, senegal bichir,african knife and silver dollars. Is mine just opposite to everyone elses? btw he is around 19 inches now and fat.Do lungfish go through personality changes?
