Do male or female festaes look better?

My opinion... Most people will probably say female. I will agree IF she is fully colored up (usually means breeding dress, but not always). Otherwise I think a solid male is a better looking fish.

Well I have seen stunning pictures of both. I like the yellow males that retain their stripes but I would have to lean towards the female. Both are nice looking fish tho.

toss up to me. If you like a more streamlined look with more red I'd say female.View attachment 892667
as much as i love male festaes i still give it to females. both are great though and best looking is really up to each person to decide
