Yea, its just the scientific name versus the common name.

Yup...over here in Cali, the common name is the scientific name as well. Most people (around here that are just starting out) don't know that a Jag and Managuense are the samething.

manganuse is the scientific name for the common name jaguar.

Yea there the same funny thing i was asking the same question at my Lfs a couple days ago.

i did not know that it had a common name til i joined mfk i thought to myself what the hell is a jagear cichlid. i asked at the lfs and they did not know then after seeing a pic of a manaquense i realised i had a breeding pair of jags i like the common name its alot easyer than the other.lol
