I know I want to get a young Motoro ray but I would like to wait until my fish get a bit bigger. Motoros seem to be pretty easy to get right now but if I wait a couple more months are they going to be hard to find??

CB captive bred.... WC wild caught.... WC motoros are always avail... columbia has seasons marbleds fall into them

Can you usually find a vendor carrying them, or do you have to rely on breeders? I don't know many people on here and I'd be kinda afraid of getting ripped off.

i disagree.
i dont know if its the rainy season of the collection place . or the time of year for financial prospects in the selling country . but there is a definate increase in availability at certain times of the year . in previous years i have noted that after april there have been small wc rays availble continuing untill later in the year around september they seem to be more difficult to come by . i expect lots of juevenile retics to become availbe quite cheap over hear very soon . but in jan i dont expect to be able to get one ( if i wanted one )

im sure some things get listed that are not available especially more expensive items . as you say there could also be stock .
