I'm stressing out so much about these ntts that I bought and I have no idea whether they do or do not have parasites... So I need some help so I can have some piece of mind as to whether I am or am not parasite free. I treated them with prazipro right after I got home and have done nothing treatment wise since. I had them treated for five days and then added my carbon back in and did a large water change. I have to also be cautious because I have rays in the tank so I am restricted to only using ray safe medications. The whole system is going to need treated (220 gallons) if I do choose to treat them with something. So here is why I am concerned: the one rubs occasionally it's not like every minute it rubs it's maybe once every ten minutes or so sometimes spurts of multiple rubs at a time, secondly they all have a couple little white spots on their fins each one with maybe 10 spots between all the fins? My final concern is that I don't want anything to happen to my rays and they idea of having a parasite infected system is both scary and extremely stressful for me... I just want to know that I'm parasite free and everything will be ok and I'm just being my usual worry wart... So any and all help is greatly appreciated I honestly just want things to be ok and it's stressful for me to think that they might not be...

The spots might be ich and the rubbing could be parasites in the gills.

That is possible, did you notice any torn fins previously?

Yes they have been fighting some today and I have no idea what goes on over night. Their fins heal pretty much over night they don't stay torn for long at all. What about the rubbing though it's weird like there's periods where the one rubs a lot then there are periods where it doesn't rub at all the prazipro should have killed fill flukes though?

As good and popular as prazi is it won't work on all parasites as was mentioned in your other thread, sometimes another dose will do the trick....I have used Coppersafe long before I even heard of prazi.

Forgot to mention the store said that they had these fish for 6-7 months and I have had them for a few weeks now if that helps? It's not like they are freshly shipped in...

I think you did mention that before and it's hard to believe those fish sat in the store for so long.
A few years ago I posted that there should be a sticky which states that dats, especially NTT should be quarantined and treated for parasites when they are purchased and brought home as I think very few of them come into the hobby that don't carry some type of parasite. The fish are very rarely treated in the stores so they just host and harbor whatever they might have.
