I looked in the tank this morning and my 2 zebra snails are on each other. I can't tell what is going on. I don't know how they mate(if they even do). Or is one of them eating the other? Here is quite possibly the worst picture I've ever uploaded to photobucket....

When I read your thread title, I had an initial impression by "zebra snails", you meant nerite snails. There are many snails that share that name. Common names are worthless for specific identification involving snails.

I bought "zebra snails". When I came home and looked them up, I found Nerite snails which is what I thought they were. I thought only zebras were nerites so I that's why I'm confused. I'll research apple snails a bit when I get a chance.
