That's why you don't drive flashy cars and park them in sketchy areas, no matter how smart people on one side are there are always bound to be people just as smart on the other. I'm guessing the mysterious "device" is working like a garage door opener except its been wired to the right frequency.. it probably is just a modified garage door opener

I was thinking it could be something that is meant for repo firms to aid them in recovering cars.

Everything is getting to technological these days. What happened to the good old days of using a brick :) I know some that had her back window broken in so they could take her shopping bags out of the back. This was in the middle of the day in a mall parking lot.

LOL brick,so to ad insult to the injury of your items being pilfered you want your windows smashed?...It's just like the guy said,automobiles these days are big computers,pretty much.
 
^ right! Especially this time of year around here, if nobody noticed you'd get back of your car to find a 10 inches of snow in your seat
