Do Paracyprichromis and Cyps Get Along?

Hello--

I have a new Tany tank and am waiting for spring before the LFS will have any cyps.

In the meantime I had an opportunity to get a pair of blue neons so I did.

I've read up that both species are pretty peaceful, but since the blue neons will be a little older than the cyps and will have been in the tank longer, I just wanted to ask if I have anything to worry about?

The blue neons are peaceful now except the male seems to always be chasing the female--so I know he's got it in him to be aggressive.

The blue neons are juvies now.

I don't have both in my tank but have done the research in the past and have read that yes, they can be mixed. I've watched videos of them mixed as well. Planned on doing it myself, but keeping what I got going right now. Love to keep some someday.

Great. Now I just have to wait until spring before I hope to get any cyps. They are what I got my tank setup for. I really dig their colors.
