Do pythons and boas need to climb?

Im going to build an enclosure into my couch but I been to know if redtail boas need climbing room. Its going to be about 2feet deep.
 
You really only need the enclosure to be 6' x 2' x 2' (LxWxH) for an standard sized adult Boa constrictor, and a few sturdy branches would probably be appreciated as would a shelf for it to coil up on. You could go with a smaller enclosure if you choose to get one of the smaller locality Boa constrictors such as a Nicaraguan.

Ive bread and raised big boa for a wile and a 6ft cage for a BCI is way more than enough. Most breeders use a 4ft and when they get big they get kinda lazy but every snakes different. I let mine exercise every week though so me moves all his muscles.And 2d and 2t are perfect
