Do silver arowanas shed scales?

I noticed some scale-like pieces at the bottom of my tank which resembles those of silver aro.. I checked on my aro & it looked perfectly fine.. Is this part of their growth process?
Only have a senegal bichir with it..

No they don't shed, they will occasionally loose scales though

they don't shed. they might loose some due to damage like hitting a hard surface or fights.
