I have had 6 silver dollars with my aro and they did just fine. they kind of compliment each other with the aro on top and the dollars at mid level.

I agree they do look good together. Mine did fine fron the time when my aro was about 4" and the dollars were about penny size.
If I did it again, I would also get some red hooks.

i think as long as they are big enough not to be eaten? saw a lot of people put silver dollars. so i guess it would be fine.

as long as you don't have plants ... the dollars will eat your plants (they love the new baby leaves on my anubias)

well, two out of the three i bought have been eaten...

My guess is the silver arowana who's the perpetrator... cos' he's the biggest in the tank, then again it could be the bichirs....anyway, there's one sole survivor left ...


anyway, just got a juvenile aligator gar.....
