Do Timor Monitors whip their tail's in defense?

I never really thought about it till now but it came to mind, Do they whip their tail or are they like tree monitors who try to protect their tail?

Usually Timors run rather than stand their ground, so I'm not sure. Most monitors do of course, but the small delicate species are usually the ones that don't. Timors fit into that category, so they might not.
All I can say is if you corner a healthy one, you'll find out.
