I thought the same thing but the article says he is bloated so maybe that's why he doesn't look skinny. I would think he would have more skin pealing and blistering but I don't know for sure never seen anyone adrift for a year. I am highly skeptical but I think we will find out. Like the boy who lived in the wood and showed up in some European town these stories usually come up fake.
