Do you ever purposefully stay away from a fish shop because you know you will impulse buy and overspend if something really nice is there? :)

I've recently found myself staying away from some shops. :ROFL:
 
Not me, though I constantly see fish I love all my tanks are fully stocked and it would be to much a PITA to try and find space for the new fish without running into a problem.
 
I leave it to fate. .. if i go and find something that i could never turn down , so be it.
But its usually my budget that dictate what happens , not the other way around.. But it wasnt always that way i admit.
 
i hate not going, because im afraid i might find something i know i want and will never find again forcing me to buy it on the spot. but in the end, i dont have room for them so i gotta hit craigslist to find another tank, split one of my current tanks to house it til i get my new tank setup and cycled... it happens EVERY time. i try to hold myself back from going because i already know im gonna buy something. i told myself not to buy anything the last 2 times i went lfs hopping, came home with n rtc the first time, a baby silver aro the 2nd time, a spotted/florida gar the 3rd time. now i saw a black aro i want, some bichirs i want, some clown loaches i want. it never ends.
 
No it's not a problem for me i know iam fully stocked and anything that's added to a tank will be eaten or killed outright the tanks are simply taken and my lfs are pretty stale same old same old maybe once or twice a year they would have a impulse buy would be possiable for me.
 
I sometimes go with only enough money to get just what I need because I know that I will get too much stuff if I am not careful. Oh well, I'm going back to get everything that I want because I held off buying stuff.

Always. It's bad enough when basically my whole garage has morphed into a mini-facility, with not only my personl stock, but some from work also whether it's for Q'ing, or rearing. I am starting to think I might have an addiction.
 
I just got my American Express card and I find myself staying away from places I know I have little self control. It's terrible.
