I know this sounds remedial, but I have heard a million things. I want to make them really want there food! I have heard every 3rd day is o.k on a regular basis. I would like to do that but will they starve, or be on the brink at all times? What do you guys do?

I feed every 3 days ... I some times go every four.. And every other month or so i get a wild hair and feed every day for a week or three...
i feed mine every day, staple of pellets various kinds for variety, and usually live food once a week, worms, crickets, ghost shrimp, or mealworms, i also throw in different frozen or freeze dried morsels once in a while, bloodworms, krill, grasshoppers. Some say fish need variety so thats what i give them.....the whole menu
oddly enough i feed mine the samelist except for the earthworms. i don't have anything that eats em.
I feed every day in the morning dry foods such as pellets and then every other night some frozen food such as frozen siversides,krill,shrimp etc. and in between i feed algae wafers and green veggies and fruits to those that eat them..
I feed everyday. The majority of the fish eat once a day. My little dats get fed twice a day as well as my salt tank.
