i've had about 2-3 weeks to work on a paper for my aquatic biodiversity class. i just started it on wednesday and haven't made much headway yet, only 3 pages for an introduction, and its due tuesday morning. i always wait till the last minute to write papers but it seems like thats the only way i can force myself to actually do them. over the summer i had over a month to write a paper for my oceanography class and waited till the last 2 days to write it :headbang2:headbang2:headbang2:headbang2:headbang2:screwy:

I procrastinate on all my school work because I'd much rather be doing something fish related.:grinno:

I once did a 15-page paper in one day!!! I am the master of procrastinating! I still got an B+ as a final grade though.

i do not procrastinate in things i have an interest in... infact if i am interested i am impatient... to get it started but opposite in things i find boring... lol

well i do find this stuff interesting, i've just been slammed with other school work these past two weeks that were due before the paper, 2 organic chem tests last week, a lab report and a lab practical in my aquatic class, then thanksgiving and work :faint: for some reason i just drawn away from doing work :)

it is more that your overwhelmed i think... sort of like theres so much to do you don't know where to start... and so there fore you feel like your procrastinating....anyway get to work..once you get into it you will feel a whole lot better:D.

hell i just finished a 5 page english paper due tomorrow now and thats only because my dad yelled at me to do it. if he didn't id be on at 12 tonight telling you about it when im only half way done. but as i tell them, i want to be a marine biologist so who needs anaphora anyway?

lol, i asked myself the same thing about english class and writing, but when doing most sciences, especially marine biology or oceanography, you will spend most of your time writing :D we got to talk to some amazing oceanographers this summer and they all have tons of papers under their names. w/o knowing how to write, your $hit out of luck getting to be good at what you do
