Do you recognize this catfish?

Hi,
I just registrated, so hello to all and thanks for your help.
A friend of mine recently left the city and asked me to take care of his catfish; it`s a great new hobby, but neither I nor he know what kind of catfish this exactly is... So if one of you guys can help, thanks a lot!

featherfin I think. Synodontis I think is the technical term...

Perhaps a lightly marked synodontis euptera?

Scientific name Synodontis Eupterus

Common name Featherfin catfish.

its looks like its still a juvenile, so it will color up a little better. He needs a little more meat on his bones looks skinny.

Ive been hearing that most Synodontis in aquariums today are hybrids?
