Do you sell and breed fish from your home ? I need to know about the legality of it all. license, permits and requirements.. any good links? ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,anybody wanna help me out with this?

i used to but i realy dont have any info on US law etc regarding this.
you may find it different between states though.
i can tell you its hard work time consuming with little reward considering time is money.

I did off and on but it was always through an LFS, mainly for credit. It was small time and I never bothered with a retail liscense.
When I had african cichlids I would breed them and get breeder award points in my fish club, them I would sell them in our monthly mini auction. Or I would take them into a LFS and I would get credit for them. I find it easier to sell a pair of fish or a big fish than it is to sell the fry, you also can get a lot more for them.
Unless you can do it on a large scale I don't think their is to much money in it.

depends if you want to be legit or not.
if you do a pet license is reqd from your local council and you will need this to order from wholesalers.
well guys, im trying to go big..... well its to late
i went over board with all my fish and now they are all having babies. not many people are willing to do water changes all day.. i am,, its already like a job and a chore..
i love my fish and they want to have babies,, must be the clean water
and i swear my fish understand baby talk
or maybe ,instincts, really, i have to sell fish , i cant keep all of their offspring.. I cant do anything else right, fish being the exception!! besides I need to be my own boss...
Its funny, everyone ive even mentioned going into business with becomes so controling that they are picking locations and naming my store,, so i stand alone,, with my many fishies swimming happily nearby. im talking hundreds of everykind of fish, not just your average set up, right now im not even close, im slowly getting there starting from nothing,

so i guess if fish stores buy them from you its not illegal to sell/buy/trade/breed fish. or is it... hmmmmmm,, more stuff to research
