A couple of people have disagreed with THE CRUD TANK name. I call the tank, "The CRUD Tank" because it has so called "Crud" in it. I want to let people know and also show them that "Crud" can be beautiful in a tank and is useful. I like algae on wood and will leave it on the side walls. I will be entering the Crud tank in a contest in September if all goes well in the "Biotope section" of the http://www.aquatic-gardeners.org/

I have to give this tank a name for the contest too. I will post pics for you to decide. The current occupants are: bluegills, warmouths, green sunfish, brown bullhead catfish. So let's have some suggestions.

Neat looking tank, but I've never heard of someone naming their tank...

How about the "A Bunch of Stuff I had Laying Around the Yard, So I Threw it in My Tank" tank?

IMO "The Crud Tank" suites it well.

Tank is a 75 gallon breeder. Filters are emperor 400 and marineland 350.
I am hoping to get a 300 gallon very soon. Luckily, all these fish have not been in this tank long, almost a month.

Bderick67, because there is so much planned driftwood and branches, it keeps the fish keep peaceful. I selected each branch, limb, trunk from a lake over a period of weeks. All of this gives each fish enough territory and sight breakage and enough room. All of this wood had to be placed very carefully so that the big fish can swim freely and very easy. There is a one foot long catfish, one 8-9 inch bluegill, four 5-7 inch bluegills,
one 5 inch warmouth, four 3-4 inch warmouths, and three 3-4 inch green sunfish all in this tank. You are entitled to your opinion, more people enjoy this tank than you think. ;)

Beautiful tank. I love the natural look to it. I posted in your other thread as well. Nice job...

edit: "The crud tank" fits it.....leave it..
