My armatus spooked about a week ago and injured his eye. Water has been changed and more salt added but it's not looking any better...or worse for that matter. I'm bummed.

From the picture the damage looks to be superficial and if so there is a good chance it will heal completely. But since you also know this I guess there is more to it than the picture suggests?

I had one get a large bite through his eye, was a large cut, it clouded and swelled.... It took about 3 months but healed 100% and you cant even see it anymore.

It's for sure swollen. Looks like maybe it tore the muscles behind it's eye by the way it's off center. Every fish that had an eye injury in my career healed completely. About as long as it takes from the time you smash your finger with a hammer accidentally until your nail falls off and you regrow another one. 2-3 months at the most. I bet closer to 1-2 months IMO.
