Do you think SB bichirs could be kept in a smaller tank?

If it got a bad genetic then yeah. I have a runt cb endl and a runt cb lap that only max out at 10-11 inches and they are at 3 years or more. My buddy got a 7 years old cb sene that only max out at 6 inches.

thanks man, also, I heard from the breeder that, they might need more filtration compare to the normal one. Still I hope that their lifespan are not shorter than regular bichirs.

My current Albino SB Senegal is only 7" haven't seem to grow anymore. It's thick as some of my 12"-13" bichirs.

my CB lap is already 2 years old but its only 8". most albino sens max out at 8". So yeah, you could put SBs in a tank around 60% of the size needed for a regular one
