I have 5 Corydoras, 4 silvertip tetra, 3 white clouds, 2 cherry barbs, and 2 African dwarf frogs in a 10 gallon with plants, sand, and a log. I want to know if ghost shrimp would fit in. My main concern was with the frogs, would they try to eat the shrimp?

Yes or the other way around.

So this is not a good idea?

I think they may be fine, but you'll not know unless you try. I have Red Cherry Shrimp in with Guppies, Tetras, Corys, and ottos and they are fine and reproducing. I keep 15 species of FW shrimp and other than the tank I just mentioned they are kept in their own tank.

probably not. The frogs will try to eat the shrimp. I mean, you never know exactly, but my best guess is they will, and even though the shrimp may be larger, and the frogs will probably try to eat them,it might stress them out. But hey, I may be wrong.

ok, thanks for all the feedback, I'm always open for more opinions.

Just go buy a few ghost shrimp and see what happens? You're only out 1 dollar if you're wrong, but your frogs get a snack :]

Lol, sounds like you're right, I have just been keeping an eye on the monster shrimp thread and don't want any vertebrate casualties.

I'm going to try and pick up some ghost shrimp tomorrow, I'll update you guys on what happens.
