Do your fish get bored?

Well, Do your fish get bored? Whenver I see other people's fish they are swimming and moving as happy as can be and when i look at my fish, they are sitting on the gravel, just bored. They dont even swim! The only time they actually swim is when i bring food out. It's not that there is anything wrong with them, they are perfectly fine actually.

I have 2 dempseys, 2 datnoids, and a synodontis and my dempseys are always bored!

Dempseys do NOT hang out on the bottom. If fish are behaving oddly, check your water. Check temp too. Dempseys do swim around near the bottom, but do not laze around.

sounds bad to me what your descirbing sounds like fish that are "crashed on the bottom" usually i sign of poor water quality if i saw this at a LFS i wouldnt buy from them
