Ive noticed that my masterpiece Thai Silk / KKP is affraid of strangers. Anytime a new person comes to the tank, he gets scared. Well, I noticed him getting scared of me if I was in my big winter coat and hat. Then I slowly noticed that the more clothes I wore, the more scared he got, as if he didnt recognize me. But if I approach him shirtless, he gets all wiggly and happy to see me.

Then I thought about it, and it made sense: fish do not understand the concept of clothing. And since they cant smell us, they simply think were something else. Ive tried every variation, he recognizes me just fine in a tshirt and shorts, but he is most comfortable if he can see me as he sees himself and other fish - au naturel.

It makes sense to me, has anyone else noticed this?

My fish have never had the chance to see me naked, how have yours had the chance to be most comfortable at that level?

Have you noticed any difference between the times you were just shirtless and the times you go completely 'natural' (ever tried?) ???

I would first like to say: you are so cool for being able to take a joke!

And I would second like to say: "I was meant wermz for dinnerz!"
