About a month ago I added an 8 inch male motoro to my aquarium. My water quality is good. He is feed mostly nightcrawlers but I also feed market shrimp, krill and pellets. I am trying to get him to eat silversides also. Anyway I've been noticing that some days he appears to be a darker color, like what some people call a "chocolate" motoro and on some days he appears a lighter color. He is kept on white pool filter sand. When he is darker, similar to a "chocolate" motoro, I have noticed that the black rings around his orange spots seem to be thicker. Why is this? and does this happen with any of your rays? Thanks in advance.
