This is a quick Re-cap on our DOA Policy:
DOA's must be reported within 6 hours. Although great care is taken in housing and packing the fish, there are occasions where some fish can succumb to the stresses of transport. In these cases a digital image of the specimen, in the unopened bag, needs to be submitted within that 6 hour period. DOA means dead when arriving to the destination and not after the fish has been put into the tank. No credit will be given due to the negligence of the carrier or the customer.
If you recieve Shipment through Delta AP to AP, you MUST open all of the boxes at the Cargo company and report any Deaths to them At that time. If you fail to do so and get home and there is a death, Then it is your loss. Live Arrival is only guaranteed up until you take possision of the boxes. If you recieve them through USPS, Fedex, DHL or UPS to your door, then you need to send a picture within the 6 hour time frame.
