Does Amquel Go Bad?

I just returned to my mom's house for the holidays (after 6 months), and the 10 gallon I keep here needs a water change.

My amquel+ smells a little funny though. Not the usual fart smell, but more of a dirty diaper smell. Do I trust it? I know that I bought it this summer.

It should be good. From what I know if there is a certain chemical that expires it would have any expiration date.

I'm not sure if it "goes bad" but I know if you use it.. the tank is gonna stink! I did that once...

I used to use AmQuel, and after awhile its bad smell intensifies. Never hurt my fish or my BB, though.

Ok, I'm just worried because it definitely smells different than when it's new. I know the normal smell, and this isn't it.

I think I'm going to buy something anyway, just because I don't want to lose my 2 year-old, $40 pair of apistogramma cacatuoides.
