I've decided to go ahead and order some dart frogs. Been wanting them for years. Was hoping there are a couple active members keeping them who could share some knowledge and experience. I've done a fair amount of research and have a pretty good game plan. Mostly would like to hear some experiences and be able to avoid problems. Kinda interested in supplements and ideas for keeping my frogs healthy and happy long term. Thanks!

They eat flightless fruit flies. They are pretty active. They are very tiny. The species I have is only 3/4" and grows to a whopping 1 1/4"! They are very colorful and their mating/care of offspring is very interesting. Easy to breed...they pretty much do most of the work!0901171120_HDR.jpg

You really don't need anything special to keep dart frogs. A tank with a tight lid, some basic lighting for the plants. A spray bottle to mist your vivarium. Dart frogs require high humidity...80% to 100%. Temp in the 70's. No higher than 80°. Cooler is definitely better. Setting up a vivarium is relatively easy...lots of YouTube videos on how to do it right.
