I am looking for vinegar with 3x the strength. I have been told it works well on Aptasia. I am not sure what type this actually is tho.

Try vinegar used for pickling (18%), normal vinegar is about 5%.

Do you need the vinegar or the acetic acid in it?

And are to using this to get rid of the Aptasia by injection? (watch out for P.E.T.A. ([SIZE=-1]People for the Ethical Treatment of Aptasia)) [/SIZE]

couldn't you just boil down some vinegar until it is 1/3 of its original volume?

Peppermints and red hermits are two things I want to get in the tank as well, but I am looking at a way to eliminate the aptasia fast. Aparently from what I am reading I think Pickling vinegar could work. Apparently what happens is that you spray them with a dose and they loose their footing so to speak and you can just suck them up with your syphon.
Just a point of intrest, apparently when you get acitic acid to 120 grains you can freeze it at 16.7 degrees centigrade.
Alot use the industrial strength vinegar to remove grass and weeds from walk ways and such. Just not 100% sure as to where to get that strength.
