Hey MFK! I'm looking for the small plastic strip that goes ON TOP of the center brace of a glass aquarium. This is use to support the glass lids in the center, not to brace the aquarium.

Do you guys know if these pieces are sold anywhere? Thanks!

Those are usually part of the frame.

Yeah on smaller tanks, but not on my 210. it has a 2ft wide glass support in the center, but the small plastic strip is not attached to the frame and its missing. I need it to support the glass lids. I know on smaller tanks like 55g this strip is part of the frame. any ideas?...

I would go buy a 12x12 piece of 1/8 acrylic from lowes or some other plastic that is similar width.. And just use that ;) Or be ghetto like me and just lay the glass tops on the glass :D

Seriously though a strip of plastic will work..

Yeah thats what i was thinking. i was walking around lowes but i really couldnt find anything that would work. this is what im talking about. see how its resting on top of the glass and not part of the support bracing? and im afraid if i dont use any support ill chip the lids in no time; theyre about 41" long each and there's 4 of them!!

just run a line of silicone around the top of the tank.. let it dry and then put yer lids on...
