Does anyone else like to bake?

One of my other favorite hobbies besides fish keeping is cooking and baking. But I seem to like baking much more because I am a sweet tooth lover. I love making cookies, cakes, breads, etc. I do like supporting local bakeries too but I usually get some of the pastries that I can't make at home like cannoli and eclair. Well, I can make cannoli because I can just buy the shells and make my own cannoli filling.
What is your favorite go to dessert or sweet?
For me, I love a vanilla cake with peanut butter frosting. I also like red velvet cake, cannolis, and cookies.
I love pretty much any sweet.
For snack cakes, I like Zebra cakes, a childhood favorite of mine.
I love oreos and cookies and cream ice cream.
How about you?

I do most of the cooking. I love to grill. But for favorite sweet to buy. breyers makes a strawberry cheesecake ice cream that is flipping awesome!!! It has actual little cheese cake pieces in it.

I'm more of a grilling guy too, there's just something about it. I think it may appeal to some of our very deeply ingrained genes

Im not allowed to go anywhere near the stove or the kitchen.....so yeah im a grilling guy. Grilled up some cod and shrimp last night.

I love grilling too.... I like to make steak and chicken on the grill. Here is a tip for every MFK'ER to have a great medium rare steak. Marinate your steaks overnight in your favorite marinade in the fridge. A hour before you start cooking on the grill, pull the steaks out and let rest for a hour. Heat the grill. Let the grill heat up for 3-4 mins until it is nice and hot. When it's hot place the steaks on them. Cook the steaks about 4-5 mins per side. Flip ONLY once. Remove to a cookie sheet or something big like that and let rest for about 8 mins so the juices can settle. Then you have a nice tender med rare steak. Yummy... I like to serve my steak with a marsala mushroom sauce I make in the kitchen with tortellini pesto pasta salad.

Yummy!!! I love salmon on the grill and tuna! I make a nice grilled salmon with mango salsa and it is delicious.

Nothing feminine about cooking the worlds best chefs are men. Men gotta eat too. Lol
I look at being able to cook like any other skill,like being able to change a tire, or cut a tree down with a chainsaw or sewing a button on.
