i have a 10000k and acitanic bulb on my tank i think it brings out the colors in my gymnos and lemon tetras quite well and the markings on the drift wood. does anyone else use these bulbs or do you have a combo that works better lets hear it

I use 10000k and 12000k on all my freshwater tanks. I think it is the best color lighting to bring out the colors.

hmm i was thinking about going with 2 10000k bulbs but good bulbs are so hard to find around me so il have to order them

I use a 03 actinic bulb on my tank...as everyone els stated it brings out the color :headbang2

I use 10k and actnic on my 125, 90, and 37.... I love the look.

my 12G nanocube came with 50/50 10,000K and actinic, and I love the way it looks . . . I was concerned at first, because the cube is planted, but at least in this case, the plants seem to love the combination

I tried to replicate these results in my 15G planted tank, but there the plants did not fare well at all . . . the bulb was a different brand, which may have been a factor (?)
