So i went to bed last night and while I was trying to sleep i kept hearing a loud slirping noise and i thought it was just my bichir eating food from the surface of the water. I woke up this mourning and i was watching my jaguar and he was doing something new.IMG_3112.JPGHe was trying to eat bubbles :ROFL:he would sit where the water leaves the filter and wait for a big bubble to come by than he would try to swallow it haha its the first time ive seen him do it but i guess its what he does when hes not attacking the turtle. Has anyone else seen there fish do this?

My Midas swims through the bubbles. I think it likes the sensation. But no mine is not a bubble eater. (Wouldnt this make them gassy and they would fart all the time?:grinno:)

I have a few cichlids that will eat the bubbles, while I am trying to sleep, sometimes I would think it was my Oscar finally had enough of the smaller cichlids and try to eat them.

my geophagus jurapari does this all the time he eats the bubbles and tries to chase other fish. The funny part is he keeps floating up so he releases the bubbles through his gills to catch the other fish.
I get a kick out of watching him do that .

Maybe some feeders will curb that habit.
