Does anyone have large schools of Giant Danios?

As the title would be interpreted: Does anyone keep a large school of Giant Danios (10+)? Could you provide pics?


I've always thought this fish was one of the coolest in large schools.

i've only got six but plan to get 5 more probably. they are pretty fun to watch.

they swarm when i put food in and they definetly fill their bellies before any other fish even know whats going on

That's what I love about them. Seeing a large school feeding has got to be amazing.

I had five at one point and was extremely impressed. I want to get a 12-15 fish school now.

I had a 10 in my old 55 when I lived in Monterey I cant find any pics I did not get in to the whole internet thing until I moved up here to sac. I had a school of 5 to cycle my 55 gallon that was cool. The more the better with these fish and the longer the tank the better. They would love a 5 footer.

Yes, I have about 20+ Giant Danios. They live in a 100 gallon rubbermaid tub with a few turtles. I bought 10 in September and they've been breeding ever since I put them in the tub
