I tie all kinds of stuff. My favorite thing to tie is flies that catch fish

One of my favorite things to tie though is classic full dress atlantic salmon flies. Also been experimenting alot with carp flies, so far so good.

As a boy I used to tie just about everything. I was hoping to start back in again this winter but I just don't have the time. I still make/tie walleye/pike jigs.

I tied flies semi-professionally for a while. My favorites were clousers, because I could crank out 5-6 dozen in a hurry. But for my own use, a size 10 bead head wooly buggy, olive. Catches anything that swims. Or maybe some other fly I invented (I think). it's palmered ostrich hearl with a very light collar of marabou, extending back past the bend. I hove other secret flies I've designed, their killer and really simple, but your gonna have to come with a decent trade for those (small bowfin?)
