Just got a seven inch Florida soft shell turtle put it in my 420 gallon tank with my gator gar,redtail Garami ,arow,true parrot,jumbo flag tail.Do you think the turtle will go after fish when it gets bigger?
does anyone keep Florida soft shell turtle with fish?

If anyone does keep them with fish, they don't keep them for long. New world softshells are notoriously aggressive.
#1 I tried it a few times. Ok when small but once the turtle put on size it would pick on just about every fish in tank. Even killed a few aggressive cichlids. I don't recommend it.

I'd say no as well unless you have a pond for when he takes a bite of the gar or aro

Completely agree with above statements. Also, softshells are prone to fungal infections of the shell caused by abrasions from their crazy behavior. If they scrape rocks or other decor, I large bio load can take hold on that "sore". Just a rambling thought. I'm not speculating on your tank at all.
I asked the fish store owner what kind of turtle I bought,he said it was an Asian soft shell are they less aggressive then the Florida soft shell turtle?
