does anyone know what "round sand" is and where to get them?

i finally tracked down the lfs that sold me the sand i used to have in my old ray tank before moving out of state. he told me that i should be looking for "round sand" . i bought a 100 lbs bag of silica sand from a construction supply co. and even though ti's better than play snd it's no where as natural looking and as coarsed as the one i used to have , does anyone know what round sand is and where to get them? here's a picture of what i used to have

damn these sand threads LOL.,... buy a more fine grade of silica sand 000 would be good... also 3M makes sands in colors go to there site for a dealer...

estes marine sand is a pretty fine sand and some people use that.

If you cant get river sand, then just mix in some brown and black sand.

pool filter sand is "round sand" because it is meant to not clog the pool filter
