Does anyone know what these are, & has anyone ever kept them.

Anyone ever kept these little monsters? Just looking for someone with some experience keeping them, so I can possibly compare & learn something new that that I didn't know about them. I had a small school in about 1993. Can anyone recall the Latin/scientific name off the top of your head? They max out at about 8" in the wild. I've never seen one over 5-6" though. Thanks.

Phago loricatus. Grows to about 5 1/2-6". Prefers to live in groups in dim well-planted tanks. The species is, supposedly, fin-nippers.

Phago Pike...I've keep this species in the past. They were unbelievably nippy. They did best with other fast moving barbs and cyprinids. Anything lackadaisical or slow would get picked on.

Found one at a lfs a few years ago and put it on hold because it had a white growth on it and they said they were treating it so I held off. eventually it died though so I never got the chance... was cool but very slow feeder took awhile for him to catch little guppies in the holding tank he was in
