Im sick of over paying for clown fish so i need to know where is the cheapest place to go for clown fish in cleveland, ohio, surrounding area.if anyone could let me know of that location and price i would seriously appreciate it.thank you and have a nice day.

Most stores over there charge around the same. I just started SW not that long ago, so I don't know prices offhand, but I am guessing RMS would be cheaper than most. Also depends on the clown I would imagine. I know Pets Choice on P. Valley and Broadview recently had some false percs. for 12 each, which isn't bad. Also. there are some ads also currently out for aquatic technology, which is right by Strongsville, and while I am told they are a bit on the expensive side, one of the coupons was clowns 3 dollars off, and another was buy one fish get one half off, which would be the better route if your looking to get a pair.

The first question to ask is....
How much are you paying for the clownfish, and what do you feel you should be paying for one?
More curiously.... Just how many clownfish have died on you after your purchase and why/how did they die?

i never had fish that died,i got out of saltwater about 6 months ago,i sold my whole set-up,just got back in 2 weeks ago.the reason i ask for a cheaper price on clown fish is because aquaruim adventure on ridge charges 35.00,petland 32.00,i guess somewhere between 15-20 something bucks is decent,im not a cheap skate,i just dont want to get raped again thats all.

Well then... depending on the type of clown you are getting you wouldn't technically be getting raped.
Maroon clowns go for about that much.
True Percula clowns as well.
False percula clowns go for anywhere around 15-20.
Saddleback clowns 15-25
Clarkii clowns can go the same 15-20
Black/white clowns around 40-50
Skunk clowns 20-30
Cinnamon clowns 15
Tomato clowns 15-20

You have to look around. Call up local petstores that you know carry saltwater fish. I don't know how much you would have to pay regionally, as I'm sure the further you are away from a major area it would cost more, just to get it there.

I have been to aquarium adventure, they are pretty expensive.

aquarium adventure is one of the most expensive stores, if not the most expensive around our area, thats the problem. I would say RMS wouldn't be bad. The Middleburg one is the headquarters, I don't know that much about salt prices though, as like I said earlier I just got into it. I went to Petco and got a maroon for 16.
