Does anyone manufacture a 240g corner acrylic?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Manufacture as in go to site X and they have it in stock? Not to my knowledge. Last time I looked for a big corner tank the largest I could find "ready to ship" was a 90g. Everything else was made to order or custom order.

EDIT: Last time I was shopping for one was about a year ago... Ended up buying a used one locally

I'm looking at a used one in an hour but cant get a hold of owner to get dimensions. I have this feeling its going to be a 120g

Yea. That's more n more common these days. "I have a HUGE aquarium" and list no details besides what comes with it. Contact them and ask for dimensions and its 55g or smaller. Good luck with the purchase. I'm bummed. Missed an estate sale where they had a 250g acrylic with furniture grade stand, acrylic sumps, and every bell and whistle to go with it and it sold for $500!!!

There are some deals out there. My latest I missed was two 220g and 150g for $100. I called the guy and asked if the tanks hold water, he said "in fact they are his son's who has moved and have never used. They are wrapped in paper". I'm like "what, trying not to seem too excited; I can be there first thing tomorrow. He agrees but calls back a few hours later and tells me tank are gone.

Ouch! Yea I would of went right then when he said they where still new. Would have pulled every favor I had and went over..... lol

I know, it was like 7 or 8pm and really our craiglist isn't very busy; I thought for sure they would still be there in am

^ one thing i've learnt about fish keeping is deals dont last long till they are snatched up...

So the tank did end up being a little over 240g, its a corner unit 36"x36"x12"x36"X12"x48". I'll a post a pic when I have time

It turned out to be a pretty nice tank for the price with thick acrylic and built in over flow. Only problem it has 2 patches on bottom but aside from seals look good, now I have to figure what to put in there
