Does any one else keep fish with there piranah's I keep two red bellys in a 40 gallon hex tank both red belly are about two two an a half inches I through two warmonth in there about the same size that I cot at a creek for catfish bait the piranahs ate one and the other one has been in there for about a month with no marks on it and also how fast do red belly grow?

About an 3/4"-1" per month untill 5-6" then they slow but a healthy raised red belly should reach 5-7" in a year imo! Then theyll stall out at 9-10" for awhile. A 40 is ok for 2 but they may try and kill eachother as they grow, if i were u id get 2 more and a 75 gallon tank! Pics?

I can't figure out how to post pis I use a Motorola tablet and I got a 75 with 5 red belly in it only reason got these two was I bought them for 5 bucks for both haha plus piranhas are my favor fish haha

Hit reply and attatch the pictures accordingly! Its easy! Yes piranhas are awesome and people around here have many different kinds. You should look into caribes and black piranhas!
