Does anybody here use overflow covers? They look kinda cool...

Do they remove easily and are they easy to clean? Or, are they just a pain and not worth the money?

They look awsome. Never used them though. I can't count how many times I have been to Islamorada, but I have never seen a spec of reef that looks like that. Divers have picked Islamorada clean :irked:

Penekamp Park near Key Largo is still pristine though.

Some of them are a little kitch (sp), but I like the natural wood looking ones. They sell large sheets of quite thick (~2cm) bark here for use in fish tanks. I'm guessing you could DIY one of those with the bark quite easily ... much cheaper and you could get the size perfect!

I used to use tall plastic plants....The covers are a great idea, but seem a lil expensive.

I would think that with a little bit of work you could cut one of those regular plastic wood creations in half and have something similar to that. I would do it however i don't use that kind of filter system. :)
