Does anyone use this DIY overflow

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
too complex for my liking

I'll try one this weekend. I'm always up for a new design, I'm already going to change a couple parts of it. I think it needs a little bit deeper trap setup. I don't know about that 45 across the top.

let us know how you go, i am looking at adding a twin spinning arm sump to my current system but want to get the maximum flow out of it

How do you prime that?

I prime all mine with a shop vac. It will work on that one too. I will need the crossover to do it properly, otherwise I won't know if both sides are primed.

Initial testing looks like about 800 - 900 gph, I have to play with it some more and let it run for awhile. Larger than it looks. Also took about 10 feet of pipe just for the overflow.
