I currently own a 2 inch FH and i read somewhere that the aquarium size affects its growth. Also that if you put it in a long aquarium(75 gal long)that the FH will grow a long body. Is it true, I just got into FH so I dont really no anything about them.

A larger aquarium wont make a fish grow longer than it normally would. Say you have a fish that is supposed to hit 10" when it's and adult, it wont get to 20" just because you have it in a 2000 gallon pond.

An aquarium that is too small though can stunt their growth causing internal organ damage and eventually death.

yes, it is true that tank size affects the flowerhorn. for example, if you have a 10g with a flowerhorn in it, it will stunt its growth because the tank is too small for it to grow to max size.

so the aquarium(if its too big) wont affect the shape of my FH?
