I've posted published research from marine biologists about the effects of CO2 on reef fish inn this forum.
Here's a new take on freshwater fish. Though not from a peer-reviewed journal, it still might be worth reading.

Nice article, thanks for sharing. I'm always clean toward the nature ecosystem, i don't use CO2 on any planted tank and I'm now cutting off the use of weekly plants chemical boosters. I stopped dosing trace element, flourish...etc for over a month now and sure my plants grow slower but it does look healthier...might be just my imagination after all
