Does DYI blackwater extract lower ph?

Not sure where to really ask this, but, I make homemade blackwater extract with peat...does this lower ph at all?

If you kh is low enough, yes. If your kh is high, no.

here's where my water stands...gh 179, kh 38.8...so will it affect the ph at all?

so i would assume that depending on how much is added, obviously will affect how low the ph will drop right?

correct, just do readings before and after using the extract, everything you do, do in moderations.
