Does Ellie Need Friends?

So, I have Ellie, a 16 inch lapradei. She will be living in my 200 gallon with Pita the Oscar, and possibly some other fish. Would she be happier with another bichir? Once our Clown Loaches are fully grown, or at least not lunch sized, they will probably go in the big tank as well, but that will be years from now, and I don't know how old Ellie is or if she will be around by then, but just the same, would she be happier with another bichir around? Her and Pita seem to have some sort of weird thing going on, but I worry about them being happy lol.

Not sure about Ellie, but getting another bichir always makes me happier!

hehe! I do want another :D Is 200 gallons big enough for 2? its 2 foot wide and unfortunately 2 foot tall, which is where Ellie got into trouble, but will be putting bog wood in that she can prop herself on to get to the top. I have no idea where I would get another one from anyway, no one in town carries them except Pets at Home every now and then, but they are very small (about 6 inches or less) and their fish always look half dead or "sleeping" completely..

I am fairly sure. She has tiny back fins.

not a very good pic, and in her swollen gut days :P But I can get some more today as I need to sort the sand. Either her or the oscar dug a HUGE hole down to the glass in the sand, like 8-10 inches in diameter through 2-3 inches of sand, I was well impressed. they were both laying in it today, so no idea who the guilty party is.

well i cant see the anal fin in that pic so i cant tell, nice bichir tho.
